Description

Dundee, Scotland, UK. 9th December, 2013. Royal Navy HMS Duncan is the most modern and state of the art Type 45 destroyer arrived on December 6th 2013 and berthed at King George V Docks in Dundee for 3 days. During the weekend there were over 3,000 visitors on board touring the Ship. She bears the name after Admiral Adam Duncan, who, in 1797, defeated the Dutch fleet at the Battle of Camperdown; a name which still resonates in the city with a park, house and street all harking back to this famous victory © Dundee Photographics / Alamy Live News
